Hi Vitachick, I didn't deactivate it first.
since your issue is on a MAC, I have passed it along to someone who can help.

Thanks structure, just to recap the problem. I am running OSX mojave, I have Poser 10 (physical copy), which is still working, I upgraded it to poser 11 (digital upgrade) and a few days ago upgraded that to poser pro11.1 (via SM download manager), which worked fine. I then updated to 11.2 (via the posersoftware downloader), and on trying to run it I get a message box saying "the grace period for activating has expired" with a prompt to a second message box saying "maximum number of activations for this license has been exceeded, and a prompt to insert serial number or "buy now". The next message box appears to be a Smith Micro one: entering the serial numbers (poser 11 and poser pro 11.1) takes me back to "The grace period for activation has expired"

Hi structure any update on my problem? thanks
I am so Sorry alex, I have had no notification of a response, and I have been a little busy. so I am a PC user, I will try to help by going through the basic steps with you, If this does not work - I will pass it higher up the chain to the devs.
Can you please completely uninstall poser and remove all references to it ( not your runtime ) from your machine and reinstall it. On the pc I use geek uninstaller for this. One of these Mac UNINSTALLERS might work. please contact me by sitemail, to let me know if this works.

I have Poser 11.1 (physical media upgrade version) running under OSX 10.13 (High Sierra).
I'm migrating to OSX 10.14 (Mojave) - I'm doing this via install of Mojave on an external SSD drive so I can keep both versions of OSX (still need some 32 bit apps to run).
I don't know if it's related but today I installed Poser 11.2 on Mojave and I had a hiccup with the installer not being able to connect to the bondware server to even enter my serial no. etc. Basically it installed but wouldn't run. I overcame this by running a VPN and then trying again. So my 11.2 install couldn't connect to the Bondware server unless I accessed through a VPN.
By the way my 11.1 on High Sierra is still running fine - so I can still use both. I didn't deactivate my license at any point.
It sounds like biggeralex's deactivation maybe hasn't "taken" at the Bondware end?
biggeralex, if you still have poser 11.1 installed you could try re-activating and de-activating again? If you don't have 11.1 installed anymore and re-installing 11.2 doesn't solve it, and if Bondware haven't got anywhere with your issue, I would re-install 11.1, re-activate 11.1 and try upgrading again without de-activating...
Can I get in on this thread or should I start a new one? I looked for a sticky with "11.2 upgrade issues" or whatever but couldn't find one. I have a problem with my 11.2 upgrade being stuck at the registration screen. Won't accept my password (or email, or username?) I'm on a Mac. Didn't deactivate, didn't realize it was necessary.

Hi false1!
You might be seeing an intermittent problem related to some license/activation server changes currently underway. Perhaps someone with more up to date info can shed some light or give a better response. I've been having a similar issue randomly for a few days. Support has been working on it and I've sent a system log file to them to help find the problem. I'm sure they'll get rid of these issues soon.

Thanks LeeMoon, I did a reinstall which fixed the problem... for now I guess. I did expect a few wrinkles in the change over though. So I'll work through it.

Thanks to structure's advice, my Poser 11.2 Mac installation problem is resolved. I had not deactivated my PoserPro 11.1 before installing 11.2, and this resulted in a registration problem (stuck on the bond ware registration/ too many licences screens) I dragged the poser application to Trash and reinstalled 11.2 from the poser software.com .pkg download. All works well now on both Macs which I use. Thanks for the excellent support!

Hi I was running PPro11.1 on OSX 10.14 and downloaded the 11.2 files today and installed these. Running for first time, the Bondware registration window appears with my details but won't activate. I deactivated the 11.1, so I now have no access to the program at all. Any ideas welcome! Thanks
