I have the same problem since short time ... 2 or 3 weeks. And its independent of PC (Win 7 pro) or Linux (Mint Sylvia). Both machines are located behind a Fritzbox router on glasfibre by german Telekom and between Fritz and the pc's a gigabit LAN. So normally I have a performance downloding of round 5 Mb/s with nearly all Internet sites. But with Renderosity and Posersoftware only around 25kb/s. Thats a universe difference without any real reason. On Linux wether a firewall nor a AV scanner is eating up the performance and cache or cookies are well cleared ... no change or result. At the moment I push download adresses from the Firefox to the Linux program uGet. This way I can download with more than one connection in parallel and this is bringing the speed up to 125 kb/s. Even the speed of old accustics coupler but better than nothing. Would be interesting if the 1,2 GB Poser file is coming down cause often the download is slowing down and breaking half the way ...
This must be a problem with the Bondware infrastructure. I have just done a report via Renderosity diagnostics. Will see if this might help. B.t.w. this page seems to be top secret cause none search on renderosity site will bring that page up. Came accidently acros that via a thread in marketplace support forum. And even that thread is not found if searching "diagnostic" in the forum ... very strange ...
Thats dealing with AV software on Windows but as said Windows and Linux same behavior and non AV software or firewall on my Linux. Downloads from Renderosity as also Posersoftware are starting with at best 125kb/s and then going down to at least 7100b/s and the above named broke completely down at 289 of 295 MB and is not resumable. So this is not a problem on my side cause all was running well 2-3 weeks ago and here nothing has changed. Its a (new) problem on serverside at Bondware.
But thanks for your assistence but not according to my problem. Will wait if the diagnostics report on Renderosity will give answers.
I had no problem downloading the update. But the updates are not wanting to run on my computer.
So I have downloaded two files from the site. My trouble occurs at the second step when I try to run the installers. They show up in my Downloads file one as” Install%20Poser%2011” the other as “PoserSupport”. When I double click on either of them I get a window that says “Do you want to open this file?” I click “Open” and another window opens with the heading of “Open with” and there is a list of programs on my computer. I have attempted to choose different programs from that list but it will always cycles back to “Do you want to open this file?” and then the “Open with” window. I've contacted support but there solution was to re download the update and try to run it again. I've tried three times and always the same result. Anyone else with this problem or solution? Thanks
This may sound silly, but try renaming the files and manually adding '.exe' at the end. I seem to recall there was a problem with some computers saving the files without the appropriate extension. Once added, they ran correctly.
Ah, found a thread where this is mentioned - https://www.renderosity.com/mod/forumpro/?thread_id=2937985

Hello,
I'm having some problems - actually it's just one - downloading the file for Poser 11.2. All the time, about half way through the download just stops and I can't resume it afterwards. Anyone else have had the same issue? Or any advice? Doesn't seem to be on my end as far as I can tell. And I'm trying to download from https://www.posersoftware.com/downloads - is the an alternate link maybe?
Thanks in advance :)
