This is the Julianne Texture. It is still in early beta. What is unigue about this texture is that it combines the best of a Photograph texture with the best of a Painted texture. True photo textures always introduce unwanted artifacts into a texture,,,bring up the lights on them and you will see what I mean...Soulhuntre's earlier post shows this using Anton's lights. True Painted textures seem flat most of the time unless highlites are added. Again, Soulhuntre's post shows this too. The way to really get a texture that looks good in medium and brighter light is to combine the best of both texture styles. These are rendered in Poser using Anton's lights in freestuff( pick them up they are really nice). No post work performed..what you see is what you get. Things to note: Lacrinal gland has been mapped to give a better hightlight.(this has always been a pet peeve of mine) Lips only reflect the scene lights, no artifical highlights are anywhere on this texture map. Lashes are made from an actual scan of real lashes. Comments welcome ;-)

looks good so far, but rather short on detail side. it's too perfect... and the eyewhites are a bit grey-dark i.e. not white enough.

I think she looks better unfinished than some so called finished textures, she's going to be awesome when you finish her Vairesh.

I like her little mole near her eye. Very nicely done. Sharen

I would most likely buy that and I think Sharen is right about the mole. Just a thought, but maybe a bit more of those kinds of "imperfections" ("enhancements" my wife calls them) would be cool. Nice work. Larry F

Very good :) I like it a lot! But what did I tell you about putting your face on the scanner bed! hmmm What some people will do to get great looking eyelashes on their textures :) Nice work!

That looks like a good combination. Certainly moving in the right direction. I like that the highlights on the lips come from the scene... that goes a long way to helping the realism of the final render. I have been plaing with the idea of using a phtographic texture as an overlay to a painted one - basically using it to add depth to the painted texture in photoshop. I'll post the results :)
