Render type, Render settings, light settings also useful. Are you using SSS, Displacement, AO, IBL, IDL?

The overall scene is too bright; I'm noticing the absence of shadows in the background. Check the figure and props for any active ambient settings in the material room. If you are not using Subsurface Scatter on any of the objects, turn it off in the render settings. Actually, turn that off completely, it might be contributing too much glow. In the render settings, turn down the Min Shading rate to, at least, 0.1; your present setting is too high. Also, try applying AO in your lights. Without seeing all your other Poser settings (lights and materials) it's hard to determine where the problem is actually occurring. I find the lack of shadows disturbing.

I'm working with V4 and whenever she touches another object or person it causes a black shadow on her in the render. I've tried to remove the shadow but that doesn't help. It's frustrating. Has anyone had this issue?
