It's not Poser you have to update, it's La Femme. You can re-download her if you bought her at Rosity.
Not sure where this leaves people who got La Femme as part of the Poser update. Maybe the updated LaFemme is included in the L'Homme product?
Ohhhhhh, thanks for that remind. I'll go check my account for an update.

Well I checked, and there was an update dated yesterday (12/24/19), so I downloaded all 3 zip files and I'm still not seeing anything for L'Homme.

Like I said, they hid it pretty well. There's a new figure in the La Femme folder (NOT the RPublishing folder where La Femme used to install). It's called La Femme Pro, and there's a male morph in it. There's a dial in the body called L'Homme Male.
The La Femme that comes with Poser is a "lite" version - no genitals, no nipples, no DEV rig, less morphs. To have it all, you need the product that's now called La Femme Pro - either by having gotten it back when it was free or by purchasing it now.
My guess is that the L'Homme morph that now comes with La Femme Pro is the equivalent of L'Homme Lite. You gotta purchase the full L'Homme to get the conforming genitals, the specific textures and his DEV rig.

So glad I checked this forum! I redownloaded my Pro version from last March and got the L'Homme morph. Very cool, because I already bought the new L'Homme Another Look MATs by 3Dream the other day.

OK, call me blind! I just double-checked the update dated 12/24/19 I had downloaded yesterday, and I didn't see it. Now I just opened the ReadMe file, which lists both LaFemme AND LaFemme Pro, but the update must only be for the "new" files, because it only has LaFemme Pro in it, and stupid me saw the same thumbnail so didn't realize it was the Pro version for LaFemme. ~bangs head on desk~
Sooo, now my question is, should I still have the original LaFemme CR2, or should I delete it, and just use the new Pro version. The ReadMe file has an asterisk before the "new" files, but it still lists the original files, and I didn't see anything that stated we should replace the old files with the newer files. A bit confusing.

Not quite what you guys and gals are discussing, but I'm working to add L'Homme the supported vendors list for La Femme. Actually, just finished last night, just haven't posted it yet. Have to say though, and i realize it is a small support list so far, but I'm a little disappointed by the lack of ethnic diversity that I'm seeing. No blacks, no asians, no hispanics. Hopefully, and yes, I know we're just getting started, we'll see a little diversity in period attire as well. We often hear that male clothes don't sale, but no one makes them to see if they do.
Actually, I have to take back what I just said. There is one vendor who does make things for male figures, and he appears to be quite successful. Xurge 3d. I have him listed in my Directory under Online Stores. He seems to thrive on making thing s for the male figure. I am looking forward to seeing if he adopts La Femme and L'Homme to make outfits for.
Oh, man, I love Xurge's work. Really high quality stuff. Especially since he puts everything on sale for half off pretty often. Beautiful textures, nice detail, and everything just fits so well.
I wouldn't say he specializes in male clothing, though. He makes as much stuff for females as males. Though even that is unusual in the Poserverse.

OK..thanks for your answers folks. . So..it sounds like if I want to get a REAL man..I HAVE to buy the Full version ? the update to la femme is incomplete ? Sighs - such is life :(
Real...yeah. I wouldn't go that far. But US$15 is a fair price for a new boy toy.

OK..got the newsletter to say the male version/morph of LeFemme has been released. I see there's a full price version in the market place. My question is..seeing I've all ready purchased the laFemme Pro figure..and l'homme is supposed to be a morph from laFemme..do I have to pay full price to get it ? I see there IS an update for Lafemme released on Christmas Eve..does THAT include the morphs for L'Homme ? If so..where are they ? I've just downloaded the updates and installed them..but I'm seeing no info for LHomme ?
