Hello. I bought the vwd cloth software but how do I deselect the 'free edges' to 'nail' the cloth to the collision object? I dragged to deselect but it only selects more vertices. The tutorial shows it being done but it does not mention what keys to press. Do I press ctrl, shift or alt and drag to deselect? Thanks.

as I said in the sitemail, the vertices selection will be one of the first tutorial I want to do. This selection has to be able to be used in many situations.

When you select some vertices using the mouse, you can use the rectangular selection and the lasso selection. In both cases, a mouse displacement without keys (Control or Alt) will deselect all vertices and create a new selection. The same action with the Control key will add the new selected vertices to the current selection. The same action with Alt key will remove the new vertices selection from the current selection.

I will try to show all the selection vertices methods in the tutorial. I hope this small message will help you.

Until the video comes out, after any initial selection is established (red vertices), further selection:

• w Alt pressed, removes the new selection from the existing selection
• w Ctrl pressed, adds the new selection to the existing selection
• w no keys pressed, replaces the existing selection
