First off HELP. I have tried everything I could find on the net. I can not view thumbnails in Poser 11.2.276 on Win10 network drive. Has anybody had this problem and been able to fix it? if so how. Much thanks Jax

The latest version I have is 11.2.319 on Win10. There may be one other version over that. Can you show a screencap of your problem?

Make sure you are using a drive letter (r:) and not a UNC (like \server\content\Runtime). You can use the command prompt "net use" to verify.

hborre just imagine an icon instead of a thumbnail for everything in your runtime philadam I am not familiar with the command but will give it a try but it is g: not unc tuvm Jax

Are we talking icon like these:

image.png

Hover the icon with your mouse cursor and a path popup will appear in a text field. You can also right-click the icon and have it open explorer to reveal what's in the folder. Check to see if any png thumbnails exist. If you haven't tried yet, click the little refresh icon at the bottom right of your Library and see if that corrects the problem.

hborre That's exactly what I get. Before the win 10 upgrade (or downgrade) I had normal thumbnails. The refresh button does nothing. I've never used or setup an external library but may have to give it a try Thanks

I have the same problem any ideas on rectifying this ?

Hey Kol..I solved my problem. Make sure you have full sharing set up. Map the drive. Turn off show Icons. On the second machine you should see the new mapped drive. Now map that drive and presto all is good. I have never heard of doing it this way but found it on a MS forum for Win10

No cannot remap the drives as that would mess up all the pz3 on other system, this really should not be a problem, Daz has no problem with its library, considering how much this program costs this should be a feature available for poser???

Anyone from Bond/Renderosity going to answer this question?
