I wish to delete my old account, and reopen it, under a different user name.

(I don't wish to merely change the user name, but to actually close the old account.)

But I have not been able to figure out the steps to closing it. How do I close/delete my (old) account?

Thank you for posting here we are all out of the office and could not take your calls. I deactivated your account and emailed you from your account email. When I click your profile it says the account was closed. I am not sure how you were able to post this thread. Let me know if you need assistance with creating a new account.

I was not able to locate anything that said: 'close account', so- after calling- I posted this message.

I will open a new account in the next 24 hours, and if I have any problems, I will post a message.

also... I will make sure that the old account is closed. If it isn't, I may check back with you, also.
