Can I use G8 poses on G3 characters ?

They will apply but wont look right as the two generations have different default limb positions.

Is there a program that will transfer the poses if any to fix that ?

yes, DAZ has somehting. Sometimes you can just manually twitch the limb in to place!

Daz does have a pose converter. though there's also a free solution on Deviant Art that I've found super useful. They have both a male and female version.

Once you've installed it, it should be under your Pose Controls in your Parameters tab:
