Those should work in the firefly render engine. For Superfly the Cycles nodes have been updated to a newer version.

True. BagginsBill's post was about Firefly shaders. Try to work with the Principled Shader BSDF and a Cycles root. you should be able to create very believable materials.

but that is not what ships are built for.

Ugh - there was benefit in using those even in SuperFly. The stupid color chips on the Cycles-specific nodes disappear when you plug something in. As do the numbers.
The FireFly style of parameter was better.
Renderosity forum reply notifications are wonky. If I read a follow-up in a thread, but I don't myself reply, then notifications no longer happen AT ALL on that thread. So if I seem to be ignoring a question, that's why. (Updated September 23, 2019)

Is it just me or doesn't the Blinn node work in poser 12?
According to bagginsbill's post from 2010 "For 99% of materials, the best node to use is Blinn" @3708932 I use it a lot anyhow
I cant get Anisotropic or Phong nodes to work either. Glossy and ks_microfacet seems ok though. Here's what it looks like in the material room
