Translation ( as close as possible )
As a more everyday practical definition, anisotropic reflections are like ordinary reflections, except for stretched or fuzzy ones based on the orientation of small grooves (unevenness, fibers, or scratches) that exist on the reflective surface. isotropic: the material properties are identical in all directions. anisotropic: the material properties depend on the direction; for example, wood. On a piece of wood, you can see lines going in one direction; this direction is called female Kigurumi "with the grain".

Yup and that's a spam bot. Notice they took a word from the thread and returned a random piece of vague information about that word, with a sneaky link into the text. Same person did that in some five other threads that I noticed.

Feel free to call me Ohki!
Poser Pro 11, Poser 12 and Poser 13, Windows 10, Superfly junkie. My units are milimeters.
Persephone (the computer): AMD Ryzen 9 5900x, RTX 3070 GPU, 96gb ram.
Being dealt with is referring to the spambot spewing all over the forum and it being traced and eliminated, not what you said. And just how do you expect the devs to deal with a bug? In a future update. As the poster who said ' hopefully in the next update' was not a dev, they could hardly have given you the exact date of the fix. it was reported, it was put on the list.

Okay, yet the nodes are still broken and terefore, shaders that worked in v11 stil don't work in v12 If the nodes are fixed, buying a license may be worth consideration then. If.
Demanding users to pay hundreds of dollars for a license to run a bug that may never be fixed? That is quite a bold business decision.

In the past, Bagginsbill would find odd behaving nodes years after the implementation of the software, but we're talking about an individual with extensive training in computers and programming.
Now that you mention Bagginsbill, is he still around? I wonder if he has quit Poser too, I wouldn't blame him giving up with this mess. All the shaders I use are based on BB's model for PBR.

The AnisotropicBsdf node is not working correctly in Poser 12. In addition, the Cycles Input Tangent node is missing the 'UV Map' Direction parameter.
Furthermore, the Legacy Firefly Anisotropic node has stopped working under Superfly in Poser 12. Therefore, it is not possible to render any correct anisotropic reflections in Poser 12.
It is very disappointing to find that nodes and shaders that worked in version 11 are not working anymore. When I downloaded the trial version I hoped it would be an improvement over the previous version but instead I found there were broken nodes, and the entire program is much slower.
