Rendering for a transparent background, help please. Wish to Render out talking animation in Poser 11 any ideas of the setting I would need ? I end up with a grey, but need it to export into final cut as a transparent background.Screen Shot 2020-12-16 at 17.23.24.png

I don't believe you can render a transparent background with any of the movie making Codexs. What you need to do is render to frames and select a format that supports transparency, such as TIFF. Then in Final Cut import your frames and make each frame 1/30 of a second long and apply your background on another layer. OR try a background such as a bright Green and do a Chroma Key in Final Cut.

Thank you is interesting perhaps a project for the BETA testers on the new Poser 12? Yes PNG seems the only way , I take them into Motion grouping them then add the voice in Final Cut. The green will work as I posted I thought yes a green back ground. Then take that out in Final Cut, bu this should not need to happen in an advanced animation programmed, like Poser, do you agree ?SaiTalk2.0003.png

The problem is not in Poser it has to do with the file formats in the Movie codexs. The Movie formats are normally the final product in a production chain. Therefore they tend to only keep the data that is important to convey the images. That does not include the the Alpha/Transparency information.

If your sound is getting out of sync either A you are using a very long clip or B the compression on the Audio is not being decoded at a fixed rate. It could also be that you made the clip in Poser and that is hard set to be 30 frames a second and that in Final Cut it is using 24 frames.

Yes quite right on all your facts, and thank you for coming back to me. After a very long 7 hour Render I have my words and image. With the green background working perfectly. So tomorrow , will go through the same endurance (render process) the main thing is it's working. Thanks all.
