My old video 1Gig Quadro 600 card is on last gasp - I have a chance to get a new graphics card; nvidia quadro k2200 4gb. Would this work well with D|S's and Poser's graphics rendering engines? Also - I see Tesla cards with 24Gig for reasonable prices, but they have no Video ports - how are they installed and used? Do they need to be wired to another card somehow, or used with on-MotherBoard Video somehow? Everything else seems to be around $1.5k or more suddenly.

Are you by any chance also still using a years-old version of Daz Studio? For Iray rendering, an upgrade to the latest version will then give you a more than 2x speed boost, due to all the Iray version changes over the past three years or so. There are also now the NVIDIA Studio drivers for Daz (use with NVCleanstall) which might help. The Daz plugin Scene Optimizer will give you a further big speed boost. Add all that together, and it may enable you to keep using your current card, until the graphics-card drought ends later in 2021.

The K(epler) cards are no longer supported in the current version of Iray, as far as I am aware, so unless your Iray version is older it won't do any good at all.

Ebay ? my cards are Nivida GTX980ti 6GB each work fine tho old by today's standards. A person does not want a card that needs a water cooler, 1060 high GB cards do under hard use, in my gaming computer. Just a thought
