I purchased a 10 dollar gift certificate yesterday but it was not accepted at marketplace checkout error message 'expired or invalid code' Can I get a refunc or a replacement that works. I copied and pasted complete code.

You shouldn't post your Gift Certificate code in the forum. I removed it from your post.

So that is the proper procedure for reporting a certificate failure? I no longer have a copy of the failed certificate and I am out 1000 points with nothing to show for it. I work hard to post high quality art. The simplest fix might be to restore the 1000 points that turned out to be useless.

Is there a safer way spending a gift certificate to a purchase page than copying and pasting which seems easy to get wrong. Besides when I copy it I get it in a tiny almost invisible font, white on black. Is there a safer way of copying and saving it? On a rank of 1 to 10 I would rank the human factors design of this system as -1 at best.

But if there is documentation of how to use the system lurking somewhere, pleas send me the link.

Click on your username in the upper right of the page, and select "account" from the drop-down, then your account page has several options along the top. Click on "Gift Certs". That should show you any gift certificates you have that have not expired or been spent. If that doesn't work then the best thing for you to do would be to email store@renderosity.com to see what they can do. They have a record of you buying the gift certificate.

Your gift certificate number is displayed there for 30 days... after that it expires. Gift certificates are protected, only you can use that number at checkout. Don't put the number in the coupon field, it will not go through.
