Subject: Poser 11.3.818 is not rendering at all. Need an older version

Hi,

Not sure if it's cool but for what ever reason

Poser 11.3.818

is not rendering at all so not sure what's going on.  I think I ran into this a year or so ago and someone came to my rescue but now I have a fairly new system and so I'm in this loop of trying to get things back up and running and I can't find that older version of Poser that worked for me, I think it was like 11.3.7XX but  can't be sure at this point.

Any help with obtaining a copy?  I have my license so that's not an issue.

Thanks so much

Richard

What is your PC & graphics set-up ?

If eg NVIDIA GPU, do you need to enable CUDA ?

Can you get a render using CPU only ??

IIRC, I could not get my system working well with GPU cards' default driver, as 'optimised' for gaming. I had to down-load the 'general purpose' version...

I have an NIVIDIA card, I just assumed that CUDA was enabled by default.  I did find a SLIGHTLY older version of Poser, still in the 11.3 range but that seems to have done the trick.  Where would I check to see if CUDA is enabled?

Thank you!

Nvidia control panel, 3D settings, manage 3D settings, global settings, about ten lines down: CUDA-GPUs. My setting is ALL but, IIRC, began as app-specific...

It's set to all.  Weird that Poser shows up in the Add list as Poser 7!
