Poser Python Scripting F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2024 Sep 18 2:50 am)
First, thank you for your work in converting this scrip.
When I use the Dials option and click "None" I get a error message, (see screen grab).
The "All" "Inverse" "Reset" buttons work as expected. I don't know what the "XYZ" should do but it clears all the highlighted items.
I have not yet tried everything that the scrip can do but so far this is the only thing that has given me an error.
Improvement means change. Change need not mean improvement.
I use Poser 12.0.757, 11.3 and or 2014, on Win10 64bit.
Using Poser, I like to keep my lights organized by groups.
Most of the time, they are arranged like this:
That's the reason why, sometimes, I need to add a grouping object, which then must be renamed and parented somewhere else.
I have corrected the problem @RoseHawk encountered and I have re-organized the "Add light" part so that we can now add a group right under the currently selected actor.
Just check "Location is relative to...", select the right actor and:
The updated version has a new version: V2.01. It can be downloaded here.

Hi
I had an email exchange with SnarlyGrtibbly. He's kind enough to release to public domain its Scenefixer.
So, I have a first version that seems stable.
Nothing has fundamentally changed, I have added the possibility to add an area light.
I have fixed some inconsistencies due to Python3, for example some variable names are now Python keywords.
This has been tested on Windows 10. I have no access to a Mac, so that I can't check.
I have not experienced any crash, but it is better to be careful and save before.
You can download the actual version for this link.
The script is probably going to evolve
