in Daz 4.20.02 I can't get the import obj to work

Are your GPU driver(s) up to date?

It is the first thing to check after any Daz Studio new release.

yes Nvidia drivers 512.15

I render a lot of models from downloaded obj files and never had import troubles before. look at my renders many from obj I bought online.

so this is a new problem for me with 4.20.02

Is the OBJ Import Options dialog box opening?

If yes, are you sure you use the right parameters?

If yes and you click "Accept", is the name of the .obj file appearing in the Scene Tab?

FBX is pretty reliable for me, you might see if wherever you're getting your models from can give you FBX format (usually they can).
