Poser 12 F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2024 Oct 22 2:54 pm)
Welcome to the Poser Forums! Need help with these versions, advice on upgrading? Etc...you've arrived at the right place!
Looking for Poser Tutorials? Find those HERE
* Dispersion Shader. I can find no trace. But this "existing texture diffusion" method may perhaps be a replacement.
* BBEye with M4/V4. I can find no trace. The Wayback Machine has the page but not the .ZIP file, as usual.
* "Sky Sphere". Possibly his "Envirosphere"? But you may be thinking of "EZDome" by Snarlygribbly? That's now here for Poser 11 and 12, and I'm fairly sure it has superseded the old "Envirosphere"? But of course you may need the "Envirosphere" installed to open old scene files - but I don't immediately see it online anywhere. I never installed it in my runtime, according to a search, but someone may have it.
* Not sure about the "Universal PBR". But possibly you may be thinking of the free "Poser 11 Super PBR Shader by ghostship2". It's here at Renderosity. Note also that Poser 12 also ships with an official PBR demo in the runtime.
Also possibly useful for ongoing P12 workflow building, a current list of selected Poser 12 free scripts and related P12.

Select the freebie you want to download from the list and once on it's page click the little download arrow. There will be a brief redirect, which might seem like a dead end, and the download will begin. Just tested and working.
I'm pretty certain the BBEye was only fit and mapped to Antonia. I've never seen or heard of it existing for daz gen 4. It was created for Antonia. I might be wrong here though... just odd that I've never seen or heard of that version. The one linked in BB's freebies is for Antonia.
You can download his original environment sphere from the Freestuff page also. Download working...
Thanks, Primorge. I was trying to be too clever - i only checked the older saves, and assumed the 2020 would be 404 defunct.
I also see the package referred to as "BB Eyes" by Bagginsbill in forums threads where BB talks about updating it for M4/V4 and indeed any figure. Which may be useful in terms of asking people who may have that version stashed away somewhere. Though there is no sign that it as completed and released.
Incidentally I find that the search...
"bb eyes" bagginsbill
...really shows up the search engines.
DuckDuckGo - "never heard of it", zero results.
Google - one result, Renderosity forum.
Yandex - totally useless, no Poser. Ditto Bing.
eTools - Hivewire, Renderosity forums, 3D Noir, all on the first page. Two relevant forum results even on the second page. Great. The new Google.

Thank you! The dispersion shader I was looking for was a trick Bagginsbill used to simulate the fire in gemstones. I remember he posted it back on the old Smith Micro forums. But I can live without it. Thank you for the rest! And yes, ghostship2's PBR shader is the one I was looking for, but if P12 has its own that should be fine.* Dispersion Shader. I can find no trace. Thank you! I've been out of the Poserverse for quite a while so I may be misremembering. I think I may actually have used the BBEye's cornea over the standard Gen4 eye mesh, whose cornea/eye surface is all kinds of messed up, which becomes more apparent when using realistic shaders."* BBEye with M4/V4. I'm looking for some of Bagginsbill's old Superfly shaders and props--specifically his Dispersion Shader, his BBEye with Gen4 mapping, his sky sphere, and his universal PBR shader (I think I remember that being a thing that existed). It looks like his old site is down.
