Subject: Poser 13 in Windows 7?

Hello,

I use Poser 12 in Windows 7 although I believe its not officially supported. I've not come across any problems so far but was wondering if anyone connected with Poser development had found that Poser 13 won't work in win 7?

Currently, Poser 13 is in Beta testing.  This question might need to be directed to the technicians working on the project.  I doubt that you will get an official answer in the forum.

Thanks  hborre. It is a bit early but just thought someone in the know might be aware of changes in the program architecture that might prevent it working in Win 7. I'll just have to be patient!

Pretty sure that everyone involved in development is under an NDA and won't be allowed to answer questions anyway...

Last I heard, the only Poser 12 problem with Windows 7 is if you need any paid Poser 12 scripts, as purchased via the Renderosity store. Apparently Windows 7 doesn't have the ability to lock them down on your PC? Whereas the other later Windows OS's do. This situation may have changed since I looked at the problem, but I've not heard that it has changed.

Okhi and HartyBart , thanks for your input.  I've a feeling (wishful thinking?) that P13 will be ok in win 7. I hope so as I like Windows 7.
