I am wondering if thier is a way to stop this, maybe something i need to active? 

what i am talking about is sometime you go to use a pose and your figure jumps back to the zero position in the scene and then you have to mess around putting them back in place, when using figures scaled down to fairy size this can get very annoying. its not every pose just some seem to do it, can it be stopped and keep your figure ancored to where they should be. 

It's likely that the pose was created with body transformation stored in it. Resave the pose with body tranformation left unchecked and it should keep the figure in the position you want it in when you apply the pose.
