Poser 13 was running for a good hour before win 11 crashed...

The monitor went black, the graphics card fans (RTX 2070 Super) roared like a F4 Phantom taking off...
I was totally scared...
My render image is not artistic and please.....no comments.

SuperFly with one area light added.

She took a deep dive into Poser 13... and it was amazing!
I really like the 360° IL system. I just added a infinit light, matched the direction of the shadows and rendered it on GPU 30 samples which took about 40 seconds render time.
Just as a reminder, my system is a i7x first gen from 2010 with 16 gig ram and a Nvidia GTX 1650.

And here is a rendering of the scene sent to the support at the end of September 2021. Poser 12 was crashing at the time, and Poser 13: "fingers in the nose". 

I know that Superfly is good for metals and liquids so I tried something different.

I'm trying to wrap my head around the Environment Preview and from my point of view, it's not as impressive as it should be except for the Diffuse IBL light.  The Prop does not contribute anything towards the illumination of the scene and most of the Material Room features are inactive except for emission, but as I determined do not contribute anything to the scene.  The only 2 factors that illuminate the scene are the HDR Background, which always worked in P12, and the Preview Light.  So, if you want more defined shadows, either turn down the intensity of the Preview Light or turn it off and add your own light array.

OK I will ve honest with you, I have no idea where that is in P13, can you tell me? Also these new environments you guys talk about, I can't find them.  Thanks a bunch!!

You need to install the Core Content first into your Library.  On startup, the selections will show up on the splash screen.

This one uses the HDRI only for lighting.

If you are using Superfly rendering, you need to adjust the skin textures accordingly so they appropriately respond to the lighting.

Easiest way to do that is to use either EZSkin 3 , or Ken1171's SkinEdit script from the MP here.

EZSkin works perfectly in P13 for me? There was an issue with version number at release that conflicted, but it got a fix?

I ma going senile, I was sure I had posted this here.

The only light used is an area light with intensity set at 5% to soften the shadows on the face. 

LaFemme in one of the out door scene's that ships with Poser 13 in the additional content.
The image was enhanced in Poser PostFX with a very low setting for denoising, most of the work happend in second section of the tool. The Bloom was not used, the effect is to strong for my taste. I think one should use PostFX with the image in mind, not every image needs to got through postwork procedures.
If you are interested, this conforming Tanga-Kini will be online in my freestuff section next week.

I can't stop experimenting... Now you don't have to wait so long for a result and the renders in P13 look much better than in P12.
