Subject: Problem with one wall in "Modern Home 2"

Greets,

I recently purchased the "Modern Home 2" from RPublishing and Collective3d.  Although old, it's close to perfect for my needs except for a technical problem with one wall.  It's the "1stFlrInteriorUpperStairwellWestWall",

Every looks fine except this which appears as a faceless grey wall like something with incorrect or damaged /data objects.  It appears in Textures and IRay Previews, and obviously not in rendering.  If I look in the Surfaces tab, nothing is listed, even the "All/Favorites/Current Used" lists -- Other objects show the expected list of Surfaces.

In the past with similar problems in other models there have been obvious error windows and I've been able to find things in the logs to edit the .xml, but when I load this "Modern Home 2" there is no window to show an error.  I did find some warnings in the logs when searching specifically for the name of the problem which I can provide if needed -- I wasn't sure if drowning the forum with 9 or 10 lines of error was appropriate -- that tell me "Geometry definition not found", "Shape for material instance not found", and "Material not created".  This tells me that the surfaces and geometry isn't found, which is obvious.  The Material listed is for wrong parts as: "Front_Entry_Walls" for instance.  Other different Material matches properly.  I've seen the same thing in the /data .dsf files as well.

So!  Is this a known problem?  I'm sure other people have seen this, but searches on Google, and both Renderosity's and DAZ's forums without avail.  Is there something that can be corrected?  I've played with replacing the wall with planes but they...  Look ugly.  I have redownloaded and reinstalled the model.  It is only this wall; everything else works fine.  If I hide everything else, there isn't one mistakenly stuff way over someplace else...

I hope that makes sense!  I've been fighting with this far too much today...

I am using a PC under Windows 10 Pro with Daz Studio 4.21.

If this is not the proper forum for my post, please let me know and/or move this to the correct one!

Hello

I have downloaded this item and am sorry to say you are correct.

There are no textures assigned to the 1stFlrInteriorUpperStairwellWestWal

Furthermore, the object that DS should be calling is missing, but DS did not generate an error.

Please open a support ticket here  https://support.renderosity.com/

Kind regards

Andy
