The palm does have some bones in Genesis 8 which can give some degree of control. These bones in the palm do mirror pretty closely true human anatomy. The main difference would be in the wrist area or the carpal bones which are a pretty complex series of interconnected points in the wrist. You also need to consider the amount of hidden morphs or (CBM or MCM's) used in something like making a fist in the Genesis series, These help to give the whole hand a more natural look.
When posing feet and hands I generally use a combination of Pose controls and individual bones to achieve the look I am after. Another trick you may consider is turning off or extending the limits on particular bones parameters to give a greater range of movement for those truly flexed poses.
Could the hand and feet be better/more realistic? The answer is definitely yes, but with the caveat that would also add more complexity to realistic posing and further break pose usage between generations of figures.
Aye! I have been trying to get that bone on the pinky end to fold over a touch more. And it seems to break the hand. Which is frustrating for when you are trying to make a hold on something seem realistic. The hands have to be one of the most frustrating things. We have all these amazing hairs, breast that do just about everything including dance the Macarena if you want them to, buttocks that flatten...but we still seem to be stuck on "laura croft paddle hands" from early 2k.The palm does have some bones in Genesis 8 which can give some degree of control. Is there -any- morphs or packages that allow this to happen for gen 8?
ANY
I am trying to do the bones myself so the hand will actually move -like a hand- but....
=========================================
Oddly, was dealing with this just this morning.
Over at Daz there are two products that I've had for awhile that you might want to check out:
https://www.daz3d.com/hands-dial-up-for-genesis-8-female
https://www.daz3d.com/hands-dial-up-for-genesis-8-male
... but in all honesty one will do you.
Feet, I don't know. Once in shoes, correctly on the ground & not poking, I don't worry too much. );
I had been eyeing that package up. But my issue is the palms/main body of the hand. FIngers...work well. I have a few morphs for the knuckles to make them look better but its grasping/holding things that is making my head hurt. The body of the hand is not solid/rigid.Is there -any- morphs or packages that allow this to happen for gen 8?

I thought to ask here, seems friendlier.
Why are hands still not right?
Why are we still suffering "paddle" hands? The main body of the hand...is not a rigid square. Why cant we have hands that move like hands? If you touch your pinky to your thumb, your palm moves.
