Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2024 Nov 08 10:28 pm)
It may be your movements are too quick. The greater the movement, the more frames you need.
Available on Amazon for the Kindle E-Reader Monster of the North and The Shimmering Mage
Today I break my own personal record for the number of days for being alive.

I use Poser 13 and win 10
If you want your characters hands to interact with a cloth item, I recommend you create and use gloves as collision objects. The characters fingers snag on cloth items, creating undesirable results.
Here's a quick video showing the results...

Of course you would hide the gloves during render...
Y'all have a great day.
sorry joined discussion a bit late, but I have the same problem with clothing in the cloth room. have 20 frames to drape material, have a simple walk pattern created with poser. figure starts out fine, about frame 45 the clothing goes every which way, in all my other posers had no real problem in cloth room. If you reset simulation, the cloth will not return to normal shape or zero position so it has to be deleted and re-imported.

I have many scenes in my head, but non of those are on paper.
I have yet to learn to bring those to life.
The ones that I give life, are not those I see

What version of Poser are you using? Mac or PC?sorry joined discussion a bit late, but I have the same problem with clothing in the cloth room. have 20 frames to drape material, have a simple walk pattern created with poser. figure starts out fine, about frame 45 the clothing goes every which way, in all my other posers had no real problem in cloth room. My guess is some kind of memory issue. Weird things happen in the Cloth Room when it runs out of memory.
I'm on P10 (still)..
Anyway, I finally got it to work so V4 now has a walk cycle of sorts with the dress now moving correctly. I had to restrain the shoulder straps or the fell off down her arms. Amazingly I did it by.. Wait for it.. reading the manual!
I can put up how I did it if anyone's interested.

Well I'm having another go with the cloth room. I've done the usual stuff like tablecloths and shirt/dresses on static figures and now I want to have a go at moving cloth on a figure whilst its walking. I guess I'd best use a female and a dress to start with but can't figure out how to get started. The few times I've tried the dress goes all over the place. I've looked on here and YouTube for tutorials but can't find anything. I'm probably not asking the right questions.
Anyone got any ideas on what to ask and where to look? I'm on P10 (still).
Ta!
