metadata update failed:12items succeeded,1item failed. Every time this comes up when adding g8f to the scene. what is this and how do I fix this?

Metadata is generally related to refreshing the content list, not loading an item. Does it say, on an earlier line, which metadata failed to update?

No, what I wrote is all it says, I might need to refresh the metadata cash. Only when you are tagging G8f to the studio or adding the basic figure to use another skin or body etc.

What do the previous lines of the log say? I am not sure what you mean by tagging.

adding G8f to an empty scene (tagging my bad ) this came up as Daz was looking up all the files so to add G8f to a scene. I have not looked into the log file yet
