The bridge to Blender seems to work well. I was just using it to help me convert some of G9's clothing to Poser figures. You can export as a .blend file and it keeps all the rigging and textures. The clothing I was using had a pbr texture setup and that was kept too. Because I was converting I wasn't worrying about morphs but I did see that there was an option in the export

What is the most painless transition for Genesis 3 and 8 characters?
To waht other software can I go at all and keep:
posing
morphs (both expressions and figure morphs, visible and hidden, so JCM, MCM and shaping)
and with resonable material convesion effort?
Best solution would be open src, so Blender comes to mind, and I know there is a 3rd party software that is said to do a better job than the Daz bridge but is not easy to use.
