Subject: Poser 13, the light does not replace itself?

Corinna ( ) posted Thu, 05 December 2024 at 7:02 AM · edited Wed, 25 December 2024 at 5:55 AM

I have a problem with my purchased lights. Now when I double-click to use one from the library, the previous one remains. Normally, the previous light is replaced when I click on it.

This was not the case with the previous Poser.

What can I do to make the light overwrite the previous light and not overlay it?

It is really time-consuming to delete all the lights every time, which only works manually.

I am very grateful for any help!

In the library where your lights are, click once the light you want to highlight it. At the bottom there's a single and a double check mark.0xbiyMTcIXUJS8tJrOL5UAe87Pv1jE7HRmNC3zX3.png

The double check mark adds the lights to the scene without removing the lights already in the scene and the single check mark replaces the lights in your scene.

You may have inadvertently changed your double-click behavior.

Open the General Preferences dialog. Select the Library tab.  The first option on the left is double-click behavior, choices are Add to Scene or Replace Existing.

I thank you both from the bottom of my heart. Both options worked. This means I can carry on posing without much effort.

Thank you very much!!
