Little by little, Poser 11 is failing me.  I'm  nervous about reinstalling it for fear I might lose my files.
I no longer can make changes in the Pose Room. I have to constantly  go to the Materials Room to do anything.
Is there a fix...... or a safe way of reinstalling? Thank you!

"I no longer can make changes in the Pose Room" <-- that's a bit weird, I mean: if you can't see the Pose room, it may indicate a problem with the interface.
You can restore the original interface from the preferences

Then, once you have repositioned everything, use this:

The general preferences respond to Ctrl-K under Windows. They are under the Edit menu:

You commented that you can no longer use the Pose Room, could you elaborate further?  Y-Phil responded, speculating that you can no longer see the Pose Room.  If that is true, then he offered a solution.  Otherwise, clarify what your issue is.

Which version of Poser are you having issues with?  If Poser 11, make sure it's 11.3.

General Preferences is in the Edit menu in Windows. I can't find my power supply for my old Macbook, but it MIGHT be in the File menu on mac. I'm not sure.

I can open and see the Pose Room figures.  But I have to go to the Materials Room to manipulate the figure.  Search and parameters are now in the Material Room instead of the Pose Room.

With the parameters pallet not showing, it might just have been closed or it might have been moved off screen. If it was just closed, you can reopen it here

If it is already checked but you can't see it, it was moved off-screen. You'll need to launch to factory state as recommended above
