ive got the package put together - decided to name her Angelyna. its a mite over 700k for the complete .zip file. no textures for the time being, when i get around to making the texture ill probably put a 'complete' version of her in the marketplace (including photo-textures, bump maps, clothing morphs, expressions and the choreographed dance animations/poses). let me know either here or in an IM if 700k is ok for your friend to host - and id also really appreciate if you could give Angelyna a little 'beta-testing' run just to make sure there isnt anything that i missed. cheers, gabriel

Fantastic job Blackhearted! Her proportions are perfect! She really looks like a real person, not a model. But a very pretty shape nonetheless :). Laurie

That is one fantastic character/woman. Unfortunately I have no idea how to find her. A search for Angelyna brought up an angel character that has been around awhile I think. Can you help us out here?

LaurieA ( ) posted Sat, 03 November 2001 at 7:24 PM

I don't think it's been posted yet ronknights :). He's just letting us know it's coming, I think. Laurie

I can hardly wait for it being available! ras.

it really is quite spectacular. What texture are you using right now?

jamball77 ( ) posted Sat, 03 November 2001 at 9:08 PM

I don't believe it! Geometry where it's needed and less where you don't!!! Now that's advanced. Having Tons of Geometry on thighs, the back of your head, the back of your arm...just eats up rendering time. Great work :)

Blackhearted ( ) posted Sat, 03 November 2001 at 9:18 PM

alas, i cant take credit for the geometry jamball - thank the Daz crew for that, since its based on vicky. i just tweaked vicky into something more realistic. thanks for the comments folks. hopefully shell be up this weekend.

Once again, awesome figure...you really have an eye for pleasing shape. A huge personal thanks for posting such a great character for free. If you follow through on the store pak, I will merrily pay up. Can I just say once again? Fantastic! -WTB

Soooooooo cooooool!!!!!!! I'm still bitting my nails waiting for her to come to the free stuff. A good petite character like this is just the thing I'm looking for and your work on her is great. :)

I see above that you are just getting MM4. If this is a V2 character, you will need to use a pose file and not a combined morph for each group. If it is a V1 character you should probably do it this way anyway. If you have non-DAZ morphs that you are combining, there is a way that you can apply these using the same pose file. If the character involves scaling, these settings can also be supplied using the same pose file. But for the head morph - if there is a combined morph component - you will be surprised just how small the file needs to be and still get the job done. My pardon, if you already know all this.

Blackhearted ( ) posted Sun, 04 November 2001 at 11:18 AM

ive had mm4 for awhile and have used it before, but its on an archive disk right now (after installing XP Pro) so i figured it would be easier to just re-download it than search through all my cds (which are still in boxes anyways, since i moved 500km south last week). i made a combined morph for every body part, and the entire compressed cr2 is only 700k. the reason i didnt go the MAT file route is because she has a lot of scaling, and that info isnt stored in the MAT pose.

Jaager ( ) posted Sun, 04 November 2001 at 12:18 PM

It may not be automatically stored, but it CAN be stored in a pose file. (MAT pose is a pose with Materials assignments.) This would be a MOR pose, if it had the dial settings. A MOR Donor pose if the actual combined morph deltas are stored there. A JNT pose if the scaling, or JP alterations or rotation/trans channel changes are stored there. And. These effects can all be combined into a single pose file. All you need is EditPad Lyte (or an equally transparent text editor.) I would be happy to show you and clarify anything that you do not quite see. You really will not believe how elegant this is.

If you need webspace on which to store her for people to download her, let me know. i can spare it. Mike
