...now all i need is for some good samaritan to host her, and some advice. I can compress her to 750KB with WinACE, and with WinZIP she can be compressed to just under 1MB. Should I ACE her or ZIP her? Ive just come to the shocking realization that a lot of people dont have Winace (the best compression program out there). Here is a render of the final character, with Angielyn's Mira texture (not included :). No postwork. I'm sure you folks have plenty of textures you can use with her, there are several right here in freestuff. She does, however, require Daz's Victoria 1. Youre free to use her in personal and commercial works, and there are no restrictions other than you are not permitted to resell/redistribute her or use her to create derivative works for sale/distribution. All I ask is that if you post an image in the galleries here with her please drop me either an email or an instant message (info is in readme) so that I can take a look at what cool artwork folks are creating with her :) If someone is willing to host her, then she should be up in freestuff tonight. I can upload her to my Renderopolis site so people can download her. I'm with AT&T and have 10MB per screen name available, so it would be no problem. Mike

thanks for the offer mike its not really the webspace that is the problem -- its that some hosts do not support remote linking or high-traffic. id hate to have someone have their site shut down because they had exceeded their bandwidth quota. any way you can find out if AT&T will allow you the high traffic?

Maybe you could mirror it at more than one site so that folks could download from more than one and just put the links here in the Poser forum. It may be your only option as I think this is gonna be a hot download ;). Nice job! I have some extra webspace and my site traffic is allowed up to 15 gigs per month. I'll host it for you if you like :). My site isn't visited much, so I'm not even close to that ;). Laurie

Well, I have a bunch of stuff in Free Stuff, including Adam the Anti-Dork -- several of the items have been accessed at least 1000 times, and no complaints. There's nothing in my user service agreement against remote linking. The only thing is I'm supposed to avoid images with nudity, so if your intention was to provide an actual place on my page as opposed to my just hosting the file, then I'd need an image without nudity. I'd prefer to just upoad the file and not monkey with adding an image, etc., but let me know what you want. Mike

I'd go with winzip - it will make it easier for people. Look forward to it! I'd offer to host her but my I move 20+gig a month on my server as it is (expensive) and I suspect you will move a lot of copies of her. It would put me in the next bracket :) Sorry :(

Me too, I have tons of stuff in freestuff between my Daffy34 username and the LaurieA one. I've never shut my site down yet ;). Anyhoo, I have lots of space, not that your file is that large anyway ;). Whatever you decide :). Laurie

As one of the Beta-testers of Angelyna, I can only vouch for the quality. She takes poses without much of a fuss. Her bottom is a bit difficult when it comes to clothes, but then again, so was Voluptious Vicky (all over). But it's the face which is the most spectacular. Here's a pic a did of her a few days ago, using Asia's tex, so you can see the facial detail. I'd highly recommend it if it was in the Marketplace, and free, it's a must-have. And since this is only Blackhearted's first character, I can only shudder to think of what's next in line... Fredoman

jaager - i do trust you. but i dont have time right now to research and learn how to do MAT poses. my next character can be released as a MAT file, but for now this will have to do. 900KB isnt a bad size for a download, its actually below average for the freestuff section. i would like to take you up on your offer to teach me how to create them - but right now i dont have the time or energy. and it is a full-body modification, as well as the face, along with scaling, so it would only save about half the size. and this way (my current release) there are 'angel' dials for every body part that people can fiddle around with if Angelyna is too much woman for them :) cheers, gabriel

She looks great! Incidently, forget ACE, always Zip. A lot of you guys weren't around for the first ARC/ZIP/LHARC war (right after the Punic war!), so you don't know what it was like, every download required you to find a newer decomprssor, or a newer version, let's not have that again. The war is over, Zip won, the filesize difference isn't worth the problems.

whats supposed to happen? with IK on, when you rotate her hips her body sways properly, unless you rotate them much too far in which case her knees may buckle, like any poser figures'. with IK off, when you z-rotate the hips, you rotate the entire figure around the z-axis, just like with any other poser figure. i dont see a problem. either way, over 2000 people have downloaded her by now, and i havent heard a single complaint other than one person who kept downloading a corrupt file (probably line noise, i used maximum compression in the .zip). if you want to issue an update jaager, by all means :) im sorry if i have seemed 'aloof' about your suggestions, its just that ive been busy and i cant seem to concentrate hard enough for them to sink in. my aunt is undergoing brain surgery at the moment, my grandfather just suffered a stroke and may die at any moment, and i fractured my wrist falling down the stairs (overexercised to the point of total exhaustion and my legs buckled while i was carrying my mtn bike down the stairs to the basement). so ive been hopped up on tylenol 3s and bacardi for the last few days and have been worried to death over sick relatives so i cant embark on any daunting mental challenges at the moment :) but i appreciate your help, its nice to know that someones lookin out for the freestuff contributor newbies around here :) cheers, gabriel

thx for the advice about tylenol/ethanol - ill stay away from it in the future, but right now theres nothing much i can do. whats done is doen :) jaager im having a hard time saying what i mean to say. i meant to thank you for taking the time and effort to try and help me with my character. i feel like a total shit cause here you are sending me this stuff and i cant do anything with it because i just cant sit down and concentrate long enough to absorb it. its more the worries than the alcohol. hopefully stuff will clear up soon and everything can get back to normal in my life.
