yes, i know the eyes look creepy :) originally she had hazel eyes, just messing around this morning. try messing around with the materials for the glasses (im using vicky's changing eyewear too) until they look more real. add a reflection map for steel frames. or set the color darker with sharper highlights for plastic frames. the lenses took me awhile of messing with the highlight, transparency, falloff and color settings to get them to look more realistic. a really good texture i can recommend is catharina's anna-maria. you can get all of catharina's textures from her site (www.renderocity.com) if you sign up - its a great deal. cheers, gabriel
Hey thanks for the input. I really appreciate it. I have more questions but I'll e-mail them to you. I hope I can come up with something really good in the next month. Planning on giving it to her for x-mas. Maybe I'll get a 'lil extra credit. LOL, JK. I'm just doing this for fun, plus I might be able to add it to my portfolio. Talk to ya later, James
Wow, These are great! Can I ask what textures you used ?

Ok maybe I wont be e-mailing you. : Sorry, your intended recipient has too much mail stored in their mailbox. Your message totalled 1547 bytes, which would bring them over quota. However a smaller message might go through should you wish to inform the person you tried to email. : LOL Couple questions here... Which texture of Anna Marias did you use? I only have three of them, I think it was a vampire pack at renderocity.com. Did you use one of those or are there other ones that I missed? The picture you posted looks almost like my teacher its amazing. I might add a nose ring, she's got one in her nose, but its pretty small. I also can't seem to get her eyebrows short and long. None of the textures in Anna's are like that. I think their all thick. How'd you get them like that? That's about all the questions I've got right now. Keep you posted on my progress though. James

Some of the things that I would like to change are as follows:
1)Have a different expression on her face. So that the teeth don't show. (That was some input from a friend)
2)Still need to move the hair around to how the teacher wears it.
3)Add clothing, turtle neck, or something that covers the neck so it doesn't look bare.
4)Change the tint of the glasses to red (can't remember what color tint the teacher has lol) I think it's red.
5)Maybe add a background instead of black?
6)Add different lighting.
That's about all I could come up with. If you have any ideas for backgrounds instead of just plain back that would look good for a portrait, give me a holar. Or any other ideas you think would look good on this image.
Thanks!
