I just loaded OSX onto my ibook and I'm having a problem with PS6. I'm missing the menu bar! All the tools apear and all the pop-up menus I had up previously are showing, I can even using keyboard short cuts it's just the menu bar items that are misssing. Anyone else experiencing this? Is there a fix?

Hmm, i don't run OS X, or even a Mac, but i suggest you contact Apple and/or Adobe about this, because i don't think it's meant to be like that...

By the way, you aren't running any strange kind of screenmode? On the picture, it's the buttons marked with a red circle.

No but thanks for the suggestion. I found out that adobe is aware of the problem. The problem comes up if you launch photoshop without classic running. The workaround is to launch classic mode and then launch photoshop. Although I'm having a new problem (or maybe the origanal issue and I didn't relize it) which is keeping classic mode launched it seems to disappear after launch and the photoshop issue remains. Apparently photoshop has a lot of OSX issues because it has an OS in it's architectureand the two somehow conflict. I may go back to OS 9 and wait until adobe releases OSX ready software updates.

I use PS6 sometimes in Classic, and yes.. you should start classic, then start up photoshop.. the menu bar will be there, with all submenus, etc.

i have just got ps6 and i have not got a clue how use it any advice anyone please!! Photoshop is a program that takes years to truly master. It's not something that can be taught in a forum thread. Your best bet is to buy a couple of books on it, and then just practice, practice, practice. Some community colleges offer courses on Photoshop. You may want to consider enrolling in one of the classes.
