ello all, currently taking a two minute break from the claymation. I must say, I' having more fun than I thought I would, and I've shot at least a good 70-80 frames so far (must have), so my ffram per second count looks like its gonna be good considering how not too far in I am for the amount of frames I shot. On the down side, my hands are gonna reek of the unused condom smell thankks to the thin rubbah gloves I'm wearing. Anyways, I'm on icq prolly for most of the day if anyone wants to bug me wihle I take breaks How was the lack of chat yesterday?

Let us see it when it's done! Can you upload animations to the galleries? I'm just curious I have almost 0 experience with animation, but I want to get into it to make my paintings move. Here's an example at my site: http://www.artsublime.net/animation.html

I can't upload animations unless they're gifs. I might be able to upload a really small gif of certain pieces of the animation for a teaser, but I'm gonna see if I can upload a small 5 meg version in DIVX codec to Yahoo Briefcase or something for people to download once its done. Either way, I JUST finished the claymation part of it. Didn't take long as I thought actually. Well now, I've gootta edit the claymation and live action parts to fit seamlessly into eachother, then add the computer animation of it all, meld it into the claymation/live action parts that are already meshed, THEN, I gotta add the background. Odd to say it, but, the claymation part was probably gonna be the easiest part. I think it worked out well (or rather, WILL work out well). Camera didnt have a fstop motion feature, which is good in its own way cause it allows me to fawk up every now and then in some ways, but it also means I have a LOT of rotoscoping to do ahead of me. I expect to have all the frames sequenced by the end of the holidays (with everything meshed together), and I'll have it on tape within two days of school starting. FUN FUN FUN ry, who is now off to the drug farm for a medical.

And no wonder you taking drugs. How long will it be man. I know you hate animated givs. BUT if you shrink it down you can create an animated gif with tens of frams using PSP animation creator. There's gotta be a way to stream it out using Rocity but I have no idea. mpetit69- that's a nice animation example it appears to have good resolution. Yes you can upload animated gifs. BUT I think the forum size limit is 200K however it may be greater in the Gallery section. I'm not sure I havent posted there in a long while. I would suggest though that if you do decide to post an animated gif that it be a larger. 180 X 180 shouldn't take too much diskspace. Also don't forget that if you make the colors trans. parent it will save a little space. Check into Media cleaner. There used to be a free version that you could use to create animations. Personally I usually use PSP 6 animation creator. Bsteph

Ah, this all takes me back to when webcams first came out and I paid 99 for a Black & White one - it was fun! I had these little toy characters from the kids programme ReBoot (the first one done with computers - really cool) and I made a stop-frame animation thing with the webcam!!! Wish I still had it, it was pretty good....... (",)
