Lemme have any nit-picks U've got so I can make this piece better. I need to work on my compositing. Thanx for any advice.

I know you're looking for critisism but all I can say is, good job! It has great depth and produces a nice atmosphere. Maybe you should try playing around with some motion blur to add an extra touch of realism. You know, making it more realistic by taking away some realism.

i agree ronnie and maybe some dusting around the feet to make it look like he is really walking, also maybe a tinge of dust in the atmoshere to,looking really good!

I wouldn't blur it. That looks more like crunchy snow or gravel than dust underfoot. If I did anything at all to this piece, I'd lower the clouds on the right side. They just brush the top of his head now. Lowered, we'd see a bit more silhouette. I like the echoing triangles in the composition. Nice job. Carolly

Love all the colors. Sharen

I agree with the others. Do not try to improve perfection.

Really like the scene, lifelike. But, as the sun is quite low you should see a long shadow of the figure to the lower right. Maxx

Nice work. He does need a shadow though... might add one in matching the sun position in photoshop as Maxx said.

i like it a lot. Having some trouble with the lighting though, which might point you in a direction. If the sun is so huge and low, why is the foreground so dark? We should indeed be seeing very long shadows coming toward us, especially from the figure & the closer rock outcropping in mid-ground. Also, with that big a sun, wouldn't he also have at least some sunlight backlighting him? It really is needed to make him pop more. And--don't know if this is photographic or not, but lightening the shadows on his front, making them less murky, would also make the figure pop more.

Try Robin Wood's site (link above). Look under Poser Goodies; she has a tutorial called "Superimposing Images in Poser (with perfect shadows!)".

Great pic, by the way.

You might want to try 2 things. Shadow: Place figure on White ground plane and render, use this image for shadow only. Very low light from camera center, I think you need a little ambient light to illuminate the figure to match the surrounding area. Nice image By the way. Paul Hafeli
