There used to be a tutorial on this site with a link to the maps for voloptuous Vicky and an explanation of how to use it. Can't find it anymore, though. Does any body have a clue?

Yes, I recently acquired Voluptuous Vicky and applied Vicky texture maps. I'm still working on the rest. I acquired way too much stuff at once, and can't keep up, grin.

Get one of the photorealistic textures if you can afford one. They make a real difference in the quality of the finished render. Check the marketplace for textures such as Asia and several others for a good start. They are large and require a bit of memory.

I don't think there ever were freebies there, just pictures to show haw various maps available at the Marketplace and elsewhere looked on VV. And the tutorials are gone, but I think that's because VV2 is in many ways easier to use than the original. The info in the ReadMe and at the MarketPlace covers what you need to know. That being said, if you have VV2, the site does have new free FORM pose files to fit VV2 to Billy-t's lace-up set and one of Sharkey's Leather collections. PS: I am not affiliated with Wyrmmaster; I don't even know him. Thought I'd better add that, given that I sound like I'm flacking his stuff. Just a satisfied customer, giving karmic payback for his making VV2 a free update to VV buyers.

To Kayleb: Thanks for the advice: I got Asia last week and I love her. Only setback is: now I need a faster computer: on an Athlon 800/512 Mb it talkes ages to render, and my new computer (Athlon XP 1800/512 DDR Cas2) has quirks, so I sent it back to the store, and when they sent it back to me the transport company lost it. So now I wait 2 months already and it will probably take another 3 to 6 months before I get it back as it has become an insurance matter.... :-0 To kbade: I looked at Billy T's site a few weeks ago and he also has the form files

Ouch! Haven't been to the VV2 site recently, but I've seen postings in the galleries suggesting that wyrmmaster is creating a "fitting room" where you pay once for a password and will have ongoing access to new form files as new clothes come on the market.

I find the whole concept of a fitting room totally confusing. When I think of a fitting room I think of a place where a woman goes to get her wedding gown fitted, etc. Is he talking about a place where you can go to get new clothes, or what? It would be nice to provide an explanation. Ron

Ron: As you may know, VV2 comes with "form files" that fit Clothing Pak 1 items to VV2's body. Since then he's put out free form files for Billy-T's corset & boot set, and Sharkey's leather collection. So I am assuming that the fitting room is just a metaphor for a site where you will be able to download form files for pieces of clothing made for regular Vickie by other vendors as they come onto the market. For example, if the fitting room was running now, maybe wyrmmaster would post form files for Anton's popstar clothes, Jim Burton's new eseentials collection, etc. At least, this is what I think the plan is...I could be just as confused as you.
