I'm just learning Truespace, and modeling for that matter, and made this dealy here. Why? Could it be because of Lord of the Rings, or Daz Staff pack? Maybe, but I think it was because it's a bunch of primitives stuck together and I like Wizards :) Anyway, I threw on some textures via it's own texture map, and will offer it up as a freebie if you think it's worth it. Hey now! You're not suppose to be laughing :)

Well, sweetie..........I am not laughing. I also am interested in learning modeling and Truespace. for that matter, sooooo.........I would be the last one to laugh, at you or anyone else. (: For me the biggest problem is "Time". Take for instance, today...........This is my Birthday...........but do you know what I get to do?........COOK! Oh well, it's not like this is the first time this has happened to me......so.......what else can I do? (: genny

now if you saw some of the attempts I have made YOU would laugh, this is wonderful it actually looks like something recognizable...I am into alien objects, you know they are so alien that the normal human cannot tell what they are... o<||:-....ho ho ho...

Your learning fast.. my first prop was a ball!!

creativechaos ( ) posted Mon, 24 December 2001 at 6:30 PM

I think it looks wonderful, and I agree with the reflection map comment made earlier. Maybe some "scale" type dealies on the claws and perhaps a more realistic talon looking map on the talons themselves. :) I'd definitly be interested in picking it up. (I'm into wizards and DnD stuff as well. Much better than my first attempts at 3D Studio earlier this semester. (Thankfully my professors are leinint on us second semesters LOL)

We clearly went to the same school, geralday. My first prop was a cube. The staff looks great, spectre3. I love claw motifs. It needs something on the butt-end, though, to balance the whole thing out.

Genny, happy birthday! And a Merry Christmas, too. Spectre3, I think you did a great job on your first 3D prop. A lot better than I did. I'm still learning modeling, myself, and I know how much work goes into it. Keep up the good work! Melanie
