OK, I'm about to update my newly purchased Mike1 to the cooler Mike2. After the new year I plan on, finally, getting Vicky. My question is: If I purchase Vicky2 'outright' do I miss any compatabilities or options then if I get Vicky#1 then 'update' to version #2?

No If you are going to but Vicky then it would be best to get the newer version Vicky2 Vicky 2 can use all of Vicky 1 stuff but Vicky 1 can't use all of Vicky 2 stuff mostly the characters because of the morphs Vicky 2 has but Vicky 1 do not

No. The update Vicki 2 is for those of us who bought Vicki when she first came out. This way, we are paying an upgrade price instead of paying full retail for the new Vicki. Just a Mike 2 is a huge step up from Mike 1, Vicki 2 is a huge upgrade from Vicki 1.

Thanks, but One More issue has just come to mind (I hate issues, but that's life uh?!) After getting Mike1 I saw at the bottom of the page that DAZ had an UpdateFix to the "Hip" geometry, cool, I replaced my origonal file. BUT then I downloaded a couple cool characters for him that required the PFC covertion....turned out I had to re-install the origonal Mike into an empty folder to retrieve the older Hip Geom for the conversion. Any insight if this would become true to one like me just starting with Vicky2 and not having the origonal 'obj' files? Or maybe DAZ is likely to assit a new purchaser in obtaining older obj files in this type of situation??

The obj files of vicky 1 and vicky 2 are the same.So no need to get viccy1

There is one series of numbers to run. V1 also comes as a CD with clothing and hair. If the you intend on getting the clothing and the combo of the CD plus the V2 upgrade is less than V2 and the clothing bought separately, it is worth considering this. If the difference is the price of the Pony tail hair prop, well, I think Kozaburo's pony tail is much better and it is free.

Good point Jaager! I did start with the Michael CD package as well.....why oh why is this stuff so addictive, does the Surgeon General know about Poser and DAZ????
