Brain-clouds here perhaps. I didn't think Poser would create a .mtl file, in 3 or 4. You can, however, create a .mtl file after you export it from Poser by running the .obj through Steve Cox's "UVMapper" and saving it again. uvmapper.comAttached Link: http://www.us.righthemisphere.com/products/3dexplore/index.htm
Hey, my mistake, wrong app. I was confusing the UVMapper export dialog with the 3D-Exploration export dialog. It is 3D-Exploration that will save a .mtl file with an .obj file, not UVMapper. hello,
i've got a magazine copy of poser3 and i'm trying to
export as obj with the "export object groups for each
body part" selected. a conversion utility from poser
to povray states that this should produce both an obj
and an mtl file, but i'm not getting the mtl file. is
the mtl file a new feature of poser4? can i produce
the mtl file using poser3?
thank you, miker
