It's all very easy. Click on Help, About Poser. If you have "the regular Poser," rather than Poser Pro, you should have Poser version 4.03. If you don't have it, you need to update. If you have Poser Pro you should have downloaded and installed Service Pack 3. I've been surprised to see that some folks have had Poser for close to a year, and never knew about the updates. Heck, these people have wiped their hard drives, reinstalled Windows and all their software because they had problems with Poser. For some reason they didn't bother to read the current news for the past several months. I'm trying to save people some trouble. I already ran into another un-informed soul within the past few days.I've installed the update since it first was posted and had no 'real problems'. I have no problems getting past the Pro Pack "errors" and re-saving the file back to my non-Pro lib. BUT recently, when I purchased Mike/Mike2, I have downloaded a slick pair of boots posted and everytime I try to load the boots (even 'just the boots to an empty scene') Poser crashes.....are there certain "Pro-Pack" made files that perhaps can Not be loaded by a Non-Pro Pack Poser?? (I did try re-downloading and re-installing too)
