You guys never cease to amaze. You're grandparents?! Great modelers and grandparents. Wow. Just need to ponder that for a while...

SAMS3D ( ) posted Tue, 01 January 2002 at 6:35 AM

Don't ponder to much, we are very very young grandparents....I had my son at a really early age, I think I was 3 and Mike was 4, LOL, Sharen

Hah, Mike and Sharen, you surely don't look old enough to be grandparents. Thank goodness you started early, grin.

congrats on your entry into the wonderful world of Grandparenthood. Have you received your official manual update yet? Pay particular attention to the "Getting Revenge on your Child" section, it's got some great ideas. (My favorite is the one where you teach the grandkids all those really horrible noises that drove you nuts as a parent - you know, the razzberry, armpit music, etc.) Kate (who has 7 years of Gramma experience and 3 grandkids to practice on...muahahahahahaaaa)

Um, remember that old saying that goes something like this: "All those years that you were growing up, I prayed you'd get a child that was just like you. I'm glad you did." This was usually said to a child who was the most stubborn, impossible child in all human history. Just like ME!

Remember, you can "rent" grandchildren. You can give them back to their parents at the end of the day. Oh, and let's not forget a grandparent's duty/privilege of being able to spoil the grandchildren.
