because I've hit a wall a couple times, outputting a texture from photoshop at a very hi rez... poser seems to choke on them and displays them very funky... so my question is, what is the max pixel texture size in Poser 4/Pro? Thanks, Doug

I came, I rendered, I'm still broke.

... I've used 4k x 4k without any problem. How much RAM do you have? What OS?

A 4k x 4k (.bmp) texmap can require up to 48MB. The same 4k x 4k (.jpg) texmap only requires about 18MB. I only have 384 Meg and run Win98. So you should be able to use at least a 4k x 4k map. This also depends on how many other figures/objects you have active at the same time. I have had 4 figures with high res maps active but it definately slows thing down. You might also want to check your swap file settings. cheers, dr geep ;=]

I guess 4000 is the limit though... see example. When I go for 5000+ I get the problems.
