I, for one, will be whole-heartedly forking over my greenbacks for Steve's work. He deserves every penny (and more).

My god, did you look at the features?! This is totally worth 50 dollars. "Converts any 2D paint program (Photoshop, etc.) into a pseudo 3D painter. - Allows for immediate 3D preview of textures as they're being created. " Accompanied by a screenshot of the feature. For people who can't afford something like Deep Paint (like me) this is awesome. ;) I find Procreate's Painter to be superior in terms of texturing options to the demo version of Deep Paint that I tried, and with UVMapper Pro it looks like I could see my painting results "real time." I wouldn't run right out tomorrow and buy it--I would have to see what people have to say about it first, but it looks very promising.
Hey, brycetech, if you want some idea of what UVMapper Pro will be like, check out the latest version of LithUnwrap.
The author recently updated the program and removed all file import limitations (polycount, etc.). I can load up Michael and see him in an OpenGL-hardware-accelerated 3D preview window. It's neat.
... worth every penny!
I will buy it just to support Steve Cox.
I've used his freeware version hundreds of times.
On some occasions, there would not have been any other (easy) way to accomplish what UVMapper allows you to do.

///He deserves every penny (and more).//// Amen to that. If it weren't for his freebie UV mapper I'd have been SOL more times than I care to count. He's supported us, we support him... and if this version isn't perfect, he listens to what users say, so the next one will be closer. Support those who support you. Period.
I was able to get it early and it is worth every penny, not so much for all that it has, and it has alot, but because of Steve's efforts and the fact that he just gave away his wonderful program the first time and I don't know anyone that doesn't need it or use it. It is probably the most used utility I have ever seen and got it for free. He does as they all say above deserves every penny, if not more. Thank you Steve for your hard work and generosity of the first UV Mapper. Sharen
$50 bucks sounds like a bargain for this, look how the other solutions for UVMapping cost. Heck, he could've charged that much for the original UVMapper, and it would've been worth it. UVMapper Pro is the first thing I'm buying this year, as soon as possible. Oh and Pffft to Sharen, for getting it early! :) Just kidding... sort of... :) Regards- Lemurtek (thinking it might be ramen noodle time again!)
Considering that comparable applications cost well in the hundreds of dollars, this application is a bargain. I have been working with UV-Mapper for more than a year now and even the free version is a very powerful application. I will definitely buy the Pro-Version, if only to thank Steve for helping me with creating my first posable Poser figure. Joerg
I keep hitting the Refresh button to see if it's up yet. ;-) I don't know if I'll be able to really put it to use for a while, but I've felt for a long while that he deserves to be paid for his efforts and vowed to buy the UV Professional as soon as it came out, so long as it didn't break the bank. (Okay, the bank is showing some cracks right now from Christmas, but one more crack shouldn't hurt too much ...)
