Vue F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2025 Jan 30 6:52 am)
Thanks Varian and mike.. Yeah, I tried to move it, but if I used the cursor, it moved too much and unless I ungrouped the character, I couldn't get the parameters of the eye to appear in that parameter box on the right... so I figured, let me ask.. I'll try re-importing and see what happened... also, try to change the ambient light settings...
Scytale, That's just "one of those things.." It's a Vue problem, not a Poser problem. Try this: Find your poser.exe file in the Poser root folder, and rename it to poser.exe. That's not a typo---just rename it to the same thing. It won't affect Poser any, and it will probably end the problem. Also, you can't have Poser running while you try to import a PZ3 file into Vue. If that doesn't work, try reinstalling Vue afterwards. Don't uninstall it first, just reinstall it. Let us know if it works or not.
The solution is replace the blasted texture that comes from Poser and put on one that's actually designed to look human as opposed to the manequinn look of Poser out fo the box... :) Foruntately, some people have provided free textures for alternatives in poser, so that made it a lot better.. So, although the eyes still look a little funky, the new texture makes up for that...

Ok, so I imported the P4 man into Vue... It's not terrible, but looks not as good as in Poser.. But what I see is a problem is that the eyes, the white eyes, seem to be sunk in, whereas in poser, they are right up against the lids.. Is this something you folks run into???
