Subject: Strange thing with vue

This morning (in france) I tried to use vue(2). Was not working. I had an error message something like "engine.dll shared file was missing". The strange was that just before I had to reinstall EasyCdCreator4.02d. So I reinstall Vue, but just after that I , Easy CD was no more working. And I have found that reinstalling Easy caused Vue2 no more working... And so on... Now I choose not to use EasyCdCreator (and to use vue :) ) This is a strange thing since before I used the two programs without any problem... Yves

I had terrible problems before with Easy CD Creator, it was fine one day then I burned a CD, after that, what a mess, what I found out, is unistall Easy CD Creator from your control panel, not from uninstall, from add/remove programs, make sure your Vue is also taken out from add/remove, now reinstall what ever was first on your computer, if Easy CD Creator was there before Vue, then add that first. It has to be done by the control panel.....that is what EasyCDCreator's told me. That is what I did and all is well now. Sharen

Weird ain't it? But I also have problems with Easy, I burned a music cd [ no copyrights needed], and now I'm missing "mmjblaunch.exe", it's failed all the scans and diagnostics and simply wont do anymore audio. Sharon, you say Easy told you to uninstall and re-install? But I have had no problems with Vue [so far.... fingers crossed]

Easy CD was conflicting not with my Vue but with my Poser and paint program. Sharen PS: Yes, they told me and also Microsoft sold me, I thought it had to do with the OS

I mean Microsoft told me, not sold me....he he

Yes I think it was related to the Os since Vue and Easy were working together before. Probably due to the fact I have restored an image of my c: partition. Now all is OK cause I use an other soft to burn CD. Yves

There is nothing more bizarre and unpredictable than computers...particularly in the Microsoft variety. ;)
