This is what I have done this far. Logo is not 100% finnished, and I will edit those frames to fit the theme, but else, I'm out of ideas. Mood and dark colorscene suites the band, but do you guys got any ideas? Or does this work as it is? .n

It's very good and kinda hard without hearing the music.. but I like it. I'd say it works at it is, but without knowing if the band's in a dark gothic or industrial or metal or neo-classical genre, it's hard to say if it really suits it or not. Although (to me, anyway), the lightness areas draw my attention more than the darker ambience (not that it has any effect in particular, but for dark and moody, that Turning The Worm pic did it more for me). Ironically, though, my opinion might be moot because even though I love dark music, my 4 favorite bands have rather poor album covers.. heh. - darkpen

..I would say, industrial gothic. I hate to categorize things, but it would be something like that. Colors and mood suites, I'm sure about that. Like you said, light areas DOES grab attention, and now, when I watch this with open eyes, try to see this trough objective goggles, this pic does not work like I wanted. Thanks for your sharp eye DP. .n

It's a strong image - I like it. One suggestion: The man's right hand seems to keep distracting my eyes from where they want to 'travel' through the image. I'd loose the hand. That rectangular object in front of the window light 'raises a question' (chair? suitcase? laptop?), but it doesn't really seem to distract. Hey! 'Osity lets you put anything for download in "free stuff", right? Do you have a Machine Park song on MP3? Joe

I like this, the hand is distracting but I'd tone it down rather than take it out. I thought the lighter areas actually emphasised the darkness, nice amount of contrast without losing the moody colour. Agree with the others, without knowing the music it's hard to say more.

on a more serious note, I think any band would appreciate a cover of this quality. maybe crop it square, like an album cover?

Not Bad at all Niko...but if it was my band, I'd ask for one of your latest Bryce renders for a cover! (or the Worm pic)

Thanks guys. Finder, that was metal plate in front of that window. And thanks for pointing that hand. Nope, dont have their mp3's yet. But when I do, I will tell you where to download. Alpha, thats the vocalist of the band, tried to fit other members, but pic was too full in that way, does not nork with this background. Bevchiron, I will tune the hand down, thanks. nplus, FIRE!!!111 .n

Personal and humble observations:
1- The ligtness that distracts the eye is primarily the one on your friends jaw and neck...
2- Maybe a different typo can be tried, one that seems to be emerging from the texture underneath or diffusing into it, clinging to the texture with roots and spurs...

Beautiful work... :)
