Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2024 Nov 21 6:06 am)
Maz, I've had that happen and it was caused by missing "facet" info in the .obj file. Just a guess but .obj files must have several different "pieces" of data to import correctly. cheers, dg ;=]
Remember ... "With Poser, all things are possible, and poseable!"

512MB, and only things like processor temperature monitor and IR link in background. Alt-tab shows nothing else running. And it's a 1.4GHz Athlon machine so at least I don't have to wait long to see that it's failed. The file is definitely a valid obj file because it shows up fine in XDSoft's 3D Exploration file viewer. Anybody want to volunteer to look at the file if I e-mail it to you? Zipped of course.

One of the castle props I'm producing is about 1.5MB. When I try to import it into Poser the program goes through all the right motions but I end up with nothing imported. If I try the same file in 3DS format it works OK. Is this a limitation of Poser or just some odd quirk with this particular file?
