i REALLY need someone to tell me how to change the color of the wireframes in poser, i've done it once (i think) by accident, and don't remember how i did it can someone PLEASE help! i need to know this for certain renders i'm planning, and the sooner someone helps me, the better

See those little color dots on the bottom right-hand side of your document window? Not the UI dots, but the ones directly underneath the Ground Shadow, Tracking, and Depth Cue buttons. Play with those (especially Foreground Color).

i've tryed those, it works with the hidden line thing but doesn't do a thing to the wireframe one

Odd, it works in Wireframe on mine (and Silhouette, and Outline, and Hidden Line).

It doesn't seem to work on Lit Wireframe, though. That one uses the material colors of the model, which can be changed from the Surface Materials panel in the Render menu.

I've just returned from a jaunt through the archives. Apparently, someone had a similar problem. Only the hidden line mode worked ... and installing the patch solved it.

Hie thee hence to Curious Labs and download the v4.03 update, if you haven't done so already.

Yep, just use the paintbucket tool and click on the mesh and hold, a palette should come up so you can pick a color.

shadowcat ( ) posted Mon, 04 February 2002 at 10:07 PM

I thought that the mesh took on the same color as the materials "object color"

Little_Dragon ( ) posted Mon, 04 February 2002 at 10:10 PM

Only in Lit Wireframe mode.
