Not better but a different focus, more texture & light, looks like grains of golden sand, makes me feel a bit warmer : ) Bev

Actually, I was thinking...Yes Jordy, before you say anything...I do do that occasionally ;-)> ...Both of these images could well be depicting sand instead of snow...and at different times of the day you would get a few different colours in the same shot, just taken at different times...wouldn't you?
it's a great goldy-blue shot of a thingie >lit by the evening sun in the snow!!! What a title! I guess everyone is really happy that Alpha is back? What creative energy! The unsharp mask helped the most. [Some sharpening of digtal images is always needed; it's not any admission of failure, it's part of the mathematics. Antoonio- think of it as a D/A reconstruction filter. The sharpening compensates for the sin(x)/x rolloff caused by using "boxcar" samples.] [Hey, no stranger than a great goldy-blue shot of a thingie lit by the evening sun in the snow!!!] Love the sparkles! So, I guess my idea this month for snow textures is already shot out of the park?? ;-)
