The above tunic is one of three I'm currently working on for Mike. Each one is actually historically accurate (except for color, perhaps), and is named after the approximate time period they were "in fashion" for Great Britain. For example, the above tunic is the circa 1066 model, as worn by Mike2. 8-D Since the balrog and the Dracos Titanicus projects were a bit ambitious, I decided to scale back a bit... so what do y'all think of the first tunic? Yeah, I know about the little hitch in the texture on the right collar, but that's an easy fix now that I've seen it...

Remember, kids! Napalm is Nature's Toothpaste!

I love it .. I have been trying to morph something like this out of the period shirt with little success .. I want a huntsman jacket .. the shape above is just about right except the middle would need to be more tailored .. I image that would be simple enough ..the texture could do the rest.. if you do make something like that I have been working on a suede texture that would work just right s .. I will be watching with interest to see the pkg come out! I would much rather have a jacket that I did not have to spend hours trying to fit just so onto my character

The only thing I'd suggest is figuring out how to get rid of the arrow effect on the sides. I know what you're trying to do, and this just doesn't quite work somehow. I think I'd rather see it hang a little straighter than have these somewhat odd angles poking out. I'll be interested to see what the texture is that you apply to it.

I think it's wonderful! Maybe some puckers and folds around the waist, where the belt is cinching it in. The cloth shouldn't come out from under the belt so smoothly, and the little "blousing" effect above the belt could show more gravity, i.e., some weight pulling it down and maybe not sticking out sideways so much. But I love the garment. It's a more than welcome addition to Mike's wardrobe. I just love period clothing and I can't wait to see this in its final product. Great work! Melanie
