My mistake, I'm working on a MAC. So the windows commands are of no help. Sorry. Still trying to figure this out though.

I checked on a WinMe machine and it was the first item in the system tools list. It was installed by default.
Start - Programs - Accessories - System Tools - Character Map
If all else fails, here are a couple of Character Map for both Windows and Mac.

This is driving me nuts! I've been through 4 books and the Adobe Website with no luck. How do you make a copyright symbol in Photoshop using Type? I know it can be done I just can't figure out how.
